Frequently Asked Questions
If you have a question that isn't answered below, please email email@example.com
What's the tour price?
Savannah for Morons is $49.
Tips for driver/tour guides at the end of the tour are greatly appreciated. (Cash or Venmo)
Who is not allowed on the tours?
NO children under 13 (this includes infants): These are adult-oriented tours. Other guests might not feel comfortable drinking and laughing in front of your kids, and the space is too small for you to hold a baby.
NO pets: Certified service animals only.
NO reserved seating: Boarding is first come, first served. If you want to sit with/near others in your party we recommend that you arrive about 30 minutes early. If we are unable to seat a large party next to each other take it as an opportunity to make a new friend.
How do I book a tour and pay?
Here are two of the most popular ways to buy tickets:
ONLINE: Tickets can be purchased online HERE.
AT OUR OFFICE: Tickets can be purchased in person at the Gray Line Savannah office located at 223 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Savannah, GA 31401. The office is open everyday between 9am - 3:30pm.
How long does a tour last and are there any stops?
All tours last about 1.5 hours, but actual time depends a bit on traffic. We take a short stop at the halfway point, for a bathroom/beverage break, but you don't have to get off the bus. This is a leisurely experience, so just plan to relax and have fun!
How do I view, change, or cancel my reservation?
Please contact Gray Line Savannah for changes or questions.
Do you provide complimentary Hotel Pick Ups and Drop offs?
As a rule of thumb our tours include complimentary pick up and drop off for all Historic Downtown hotels and B&B’s in Savannah and professional tour guides.
How do I schedule a hotel pick up and drop off?
Call 912-964-8989 to arrange. Please call 24 hours prior to your tour to confirm your pickup.
We ask our passengers to be ready for pick up in front of hotel or B&B 30 minutes before scheduled departure of their tour. Gray Line Savannah shuttle buses collect passengers from hotels and bring them to the Gray Line Office, 223 MLK Jr Blvd. Savannah GA - which is the departure and arrival location for the Savannah for Morons, The Trolley Tour tours. After the tour, passengers are dropped off at their hotels or B&B’s they were collected from or can be dropped off at the Gray Life office -- which is a 1 minute walk from the Visitor's Center.
Your electronic tickets and e-mail voucher contain detailed information on pick up and drop off.
Does Savannah for Morons ever cancel a scheduled tour?
Rarely. We send out any cancellation alerts by email 12 hours in advance. Due to the cost of running each tour, there must be at least 15 seats reserved. It rarely happens, but if we fail to get at least 15 people, the tour must be canceled.
If we have to cancel your tour, you will receive a full refund.
Can I bring food and drinks?
Food is *not allowed* on the bus. You may bring a beverage in a non-breakable cup, but coolers are not allowed on the bus.
What are the rules of the bus?
WE START ON TIME! Plan to arrive a little early especially if you need to find parking.
THE MORON RULE: This is a show, not a party bus. We want everyone to have fun, but if other guests are unable to hear, you'll be warned that you're breaking the MORON RULE. After three warnings, we will escort your party off the bus. Before booking seats, you will need to confirm that you understand and accept this policy.
Keep cell phones on vibrate; do not text or take calls during a tour.
No large hats, feather boas or excessive shoulder pads allowed.
Can I reserve a specific seat?
The tour is general admission and there's no reserved seating. We recommend that you arrive early (at least 30 minutes) if you'd like to be seated together; however, we make no promises! Be ready to sit next to a new friend.
Is the bus temperature comfortable?
Tours run year-round and the trolley is climate-controlled.
Is there a place to store luggage while on a tour?
No. Please make arrangements to store your luggage elsewhere while on the tour.
Is the bus wheelchair accessible?
We try to make arrangements whenever possible. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss. Thank you!
Is there a restroom on the bus?
No. Please use the facilities inside the Gray Line office before boarding the bus. We will also stop half-way through the tour for a bathroom break.
